Connecting women at Ginger Creek
There are two ways to get connect here.
Coffee at the Creek happens on the 3rd Saturday of each month. Come and join us.
Below are a few groups you may be interested in.
Coffee at the Creek
Please join us for a very special Coffee at the Creek in October, as we start gearing up for the 2014 Christmas Tea! Once again this year Coffee at the Creek will be combined with our annual Pre-Tea Brunch. You’ll enjoy an extraordinary meal while learning about the spiritual mission of the Christmas Tea, the special speaker and this year’s theme. Anyone interested in hosting a table at the Tea will be able to sign up that morning. And everyone will be blessed with an uplifting time of fellowship and connection with other Christian women. Registration is encouraged but not required. Hope to see you there!
Grab your sweetheart and gather around a blazing bonfire for fellowship, fun and food. We will supply chili and warm beverages. Please bring an appetizer or dessert to share. Also bring lawn chairs and a blanket. Saturday, November 1st, 6:30pm – 10pm, at Ginger Creek Community Church Registration encouraged but not required. Stop be the event table in the lobby in Sunday. Precepts Bible Study
The goal of a Precepts study is to establish you in God’s word using the Bible as the primary text. Study and fellowship are integrated into one wonderfully vibrant, thriving study group. Questions: Contact Karyn Pearson
Isaiah is the crown jewel of Old Testament prophets, a book that strikes awe in the heart of its reader. Prophecies from Isaiah are mentioned in twenty-two places in the Gospels, Acts, and Romans. The words of Isaiah were often found on the lips of the Christ, the Messiah whom the prophet Isaiah foretold. If Jesus, God incarnate, honored this grand and glorious book so highly, then you and I ought to do the same.
This coming year in Precept we will study the entire book of Isaiah using two workbooks. Isaiah Part 1 is entitled “The Word of the Holy One to Israel, the Remnant, and the Nations . . . and the Promise of the Child to Be Born.” It includes 14 lessons which cover Isaiah Chapters 1 – 39. In Part 1, we’ll meet the Holy One of Israel, and learn how He deals with those who claim Him as God but don’t honor Him as God in the way that they live. We’ll discover the destiny of nations, and the future of all mankind, including ours. Isaiah Part 2 is entitled “Comfort My People.” It includes 9 lessons which cover Chapters 40 – 66. In Part 2 we learn that the Lord told Isaiah to speak kind words to Israel. He wanted to comfort His people with the promise of great restoration for them. We too can learn to take comfort in the promises of God as we face the uncertainty of the days ahead.
Meets: Three (3) Thursdays per month, 9:15 to 11:30 AM in the basement classroom (SC01) of Ginger Creek Community Church from September 2014 through May 2015, beginning September 11th. The first hour of class time is workbook discussion and the second hour is DVD teaching by Kay or David Arthur.

Beloved Disciple by Beth More
Explore with Beth Moore, the life of the apostle John. Having been with Jesus all the years of His ministry, John witnessed miracles, saw displays of power, and experienced more love than he could fathom. In his three letters John left a legacy of divine love to ignite the passion of future believers. And while exiled on Patmos, John recorded His risen Lord’s glorious revelation of victory and hope.
Beloved Disciple by Beth Moore
Every disciple and early follower of Christ left a legacy for future believers. John’s legacy was love. Perhaps like no other disciple, John understood that relationship is the point. Every command of Christ and call to obedience is to enhance relationship and place the recipient in a posture the Giver can bless. This study is about finding our way to the heart of Jesus and reclining so closely that our pulse begins to throb in tandem, loving what He loves and hating what He hates
Starts: Monday, September 8th
Meets: Every Monday from 7-9pm at Ginger Creek in the lower level.
