Project Share Food – We Collect Items Every 1st Sunday of the Month
Each week, the Aurora Interfaith Food Pantry serves hundreds of individuals and families who are unable to purchase enough food to adequately meet their nutritional needs. Project Share Food at Ginger Creek is a monthly food collection to benefit the Aurora Interfaith Food Pantry. We collect non-perishable food items, toiletries and diapers on the First Sunday of each month.
Here’s how you can become a part of Project Share Food: Pick up the bag that is provided in the church lobby. Listed on the bag, are the 10 needs for the food pantry so you know what to purchase at the grocery store. Use this as a way to teach your family about generosity and serving those in need. Bring those food items with you on the first Sunday of the month and we’ll deliver them to the food pantry. For more information or to help with collection weekends, contact Abi Barnes.
