We would like to invite you to serve with us at Hesed House on the Third Thursday.
On Average, there are around 200 guests in the adult shelters and 20 in the family shelter. The family shelter numbers seem to fluctuate.
Our needs are the same as we can use assistance on the following shifts:
Adult PADS shelter: 4:30 PM – 6:00 PM meal prep
Adult PADS shelter: 6:00 PM – 8:30ish PM meal serve/kitchen duty/meals for late guests
Adult PADS shelter: 3:00 AM – 5:00 AM (Friday morning) Breakfast Prep
Adult PADS shelter: 4:30 AM – 7:00 AM (Friday morning) Breakfast Serve
Family Shelter: 4:30 PM – 6:30 PM
If you are able to serve alongside us, please let me know as we could really use the help. Of course, you are always welcome to join us for the entire time as many of you already do.
