Where: Aurora, IL

Come be a part of an incredible weekend at Ginger Creek Community Church! May 4-6 will be our first annual Spring Thing retreat! We will have an incredibly gifted speaker, Ray McElroy, who is a nationally recognized motivational speaker and chaplain for the Chicago Bears. Food will be prepared by Chef Joshua Karther, who is the executive chef at the Hyatt in Oak Park. An awesome local band, tons of games and most importantly, growing in our walk with God. Long story short, it’s GOING TO BE EPIC!

This will be a retreat unlike any you’ve been to before! We will have 8 host families from our church who will graciously open their homes to our students from 6th-12th grade for the weekend. Each host home will be paired with a young adult leader who will be leading the students in our Fearless theme for the weekend. There will be four sessions in the host home, and two larger services which will be held at the church. Plenty of time is built in for fun and competitions, but we’ll take care of all of that! We will kick off the event Friday night, have an incredible day together on Saturday, and then worship with the rest of the church Sunday morning!
