First Thursday
What Is First Thursday, You Say? It's our mid-week prayer service. It happens on the first Thursday of the month in the Auditorium. It'll be around 90 minutes, and there's nothing you need to bring or prepare. It's simply a time for you to gather with others like yourself to worship and pray together. Come and worship, pray, and be refreshed in the joy of our Lord. Hope to see you there!

Ginger Creek Legal Clinic makes justice for all possible Ginger Creek is establishing a Gospel Justice Center to provide affordable legal guidance and counsel for neighbors in need. We are supported by Administer Justice, a national legal aid ministry, established to equip local communities to provide the help of a lawyer and the hope of God’s love. Anyone needing legal counsel is welcome to make an appointment online at GC LEGAL CLINIC . Walk-ins are also welcome. A one-time $30 copay is all that is required. No one should face confusing legal circumstances alone. Getting legal guidance should not be limited to the rich. You have a right to be heard and Ginger Creek is here to listen. With the help of a lawyer and the hope of God’s love, you can gain confidence and freedom from your legal circumstance. Don’t wait. Legal problems only get worse with time and justice delayed is justice denied. Communion Sunday On The First Sunday at 9:30 AM Communion, as we call it, is known by many names. Some call it Holy Communion, others call it the Eucharist, and others call it the Lord’s Supper. Regardless of the name we call it, the commemoration of the sacrificial death of Jesus is the most widely observed tradition and the sacrament of the Christian church. This Sunday, let's gather together and remember His sacrifice. The elements will be passed during the service in the auditorium. Glutton Free Crackers will be available at Guest Services upon request. If you are joining us ONLINE, please prepare your element and join us as we take communion together.

Paint the Pastors Showdown Everyone is invited to "Paint the Pastors Showdown." After the service on June 4, You can donate to earn a chance to throw paint at your favorite pastor at Ginger Creek! You don't want to miss this! 3rd Annual Paint the Pastors Fundraiser June 4, 11:00- 2:00 PM Help support a fantastic VBS experience for our K-5 students and our Student Summer Camp by joining us for our 3rd Annual Paint the Pastors event. Food will be available after service. Donate, grab some food, and paint the pastors. Donate, and you'll get to soak our favorite pastors and church leaders with paint! We will have fun games and activities for all ages! Schedule 11:00-12:00 PM: Food, Games & Activities on the Great Lawn for the whole family 12:00-1:00 PM: Paint the Pastors **You can purchase lunch at the event or bring a picnic lunch for you and your family to enjoy after church; if you are participating, bring clothes you don’t mind getting painted, a towel from home, and sun tan lotion.** ALL PROCEEDS GO TO SUPPORT OUR STUDENT AND CHILDREN MINISTRIES

Hesed House
Hesed House
We would like to invite you to serve with us at Hesed House on the Third Thursday. On Average, there are around 200 guests in the adult shelters and 20 in the family shelter. The family shelter numbers seem to fluctuate. Our needs are the same as we can use assistance on the following shifts: Adult PADS shelter: 4:30 PM – 6:00 PM meal prep Adult PADS shelter: 6:00 PM – 8:30ish PM meal serve/kitchen duty/meals for late guests Adult PADS shelter: 3:00 AM – 5:00 AM (Friday morning) Breakfast Prep Adult PADS shelter: 4:30 AM – 7:00 AM (Friday morning) Breakfast Serve Family Shelter: 4:30 PM – 6:30 PM If you are able to serve alongside us, please let me know as we could really use the help. Of course, you are always welcome to join us for the entire time as many of you already do. May our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ be with you always!

God is Good! Effective this month Ginger Creek is back at Hesed House serving on a limited sign up volunteer basis. The information below will provide you with probably too much detail. In order for us to meet the requirements, I have set up a Goggle Doc for you to sign up. https://docs.google.com/document/d/1hT8IHIBGxaQi_NywZ9jAwCRACZqsiMtsnQ5Iw6j7liQ/edit Volunteers coming to Hesed will need to update their volunteer profiles with the date of their final vaccination before coming to Hesed. The links below are for updating an existing volunteer profile, or creating a new one! Volunteer Profile Update Link – Note: this will likely involve resetting/creating a password. If volunteers are new to Hesed or didn't have a profile from before, the new volunteer application link is below: Volunteer Application - Hesed House Family Shelter Volunteer dinner shift information: The volunteer shift is from 4-8 p.m. for up to 4 total volunteers in the kitchen/program area. The Family Shelter will return to its 6 p.m. serving time. The volunteers can actually come as early as needed to have the meal hot and ready for 6 p.m.! The 6 p.m. serving time works best for the Family Shelter, because it allows the children an extra hour to sleep. Up to four fully vaccinated, adult volunteers age 18 or over, can serve in the family shelter kitchen/program area. If the group is grilling outside, an additional 1-3 vaccinated volunteers can do the grilling on the Family Shelter grill outside!
