CHILI COOKOFF
Sunday, February 19th
Are you tired of the cold winter weather? Well, it’s time to warm up! Join the Older Singles (45+) Small Group for our annual Chili Cook-Off at Ginger Creek Community Church. There will be a competition to see who can cook the “best” chili – with prizes! Chili entry setup will start at 5:15 pm, with the event starting at 5:30 pm. It will be a night of great fellowship with a Texas ranch flavor! Please bring your favorite board game for our game night after dinner. Invite a friend – ALL are welcome!!
If you are interested in entering your chili, RSVP to the number below by February 13. Also – we need side dishes as well, like cornbread, veggies, condiments, desserts, etc.
So just let us know what you’d like to bring when you RSVP. Note that some folks bring muffin pans that work great for sampling 6 or more chilis at one time without juggling lots of bowls.
We will also have a canned food drive for the Ginger Creek Community Care ministry – so please consider donating some food items.
Ginger Creek Community Church is located at 2850 Ginger Woods Parkway, right off Butterfield Road between Eola and Kirk Road (Farnsworth Road) in Aurora.
